Grand Exit -

All vintage

Most of our senior session are with seniors entering their final year, but this last week, we shot four best friends who just finished up their senior year and are heading off to college. We played papparazzi for a few hours while they traipsed around the Pearl and, well, just played around together. It was a little bittersweet, knowing that it was one of their last times together, but we really enjoyed being part of it with them.

Did you tell them what to wear?

I just like their outfit coordination.1

Great job. I love the last one. Wind in hair. Fantastic!

We always give clients the advice to pick an area of the color wheel for everyone in the group. It's always fun to see what they come up with!

This is a great set! I love the hues of blue the girls chose. I'm from Singapore and I don't quite understand this 'seniors season' you are talking about.

Most young people, when they're entering their final year of high school (pre-university studies), have senior portraits taken. They use one in a yearbook of compiled images of the students, and then have lots of others that celebrate that time in their lives. I call this our "senior season" because we do so many at this time of year.

they're great! such bright, clear photos. the first one REALLY makes me think of the sex& the city women though ahhaha
but that's mostly a good thing.

There's several in the full set that have that vibe and I think the girls are going to love it.

You've made a couple of posts in [info]photographers with disabled comments. I haven't had a word with the mods yet, thinking it's better to talk to you directly first, but I don't think it's right to post in a community with comments disabled. Please reconsider your approach -- it looks like you're advertising, or at the very least think you're above handling feedback.

Thanks for your time.

Quite to the contrary, we disable comments so that when it gets cross posted, all the comments and criticism get directed back to a single post. That way, everyone from all the communities we post in can see the feedback.

I've thought about doing it another way, but this seems the best way to track all the comments to me.

I now understand your intentions. However, if one doesn't follow the cut -- just browsing the flist for example -- one just sees a post without the ability to comment; not an expected occurrence in a community.

I'll try and remember to add something to the cut text so it's easier to understand. I'll also mention it to Em, who makes most of the posts here.

Thanks for the feedback, and thanks for being so chill about it.

you know, I've been seeing a lot of senior portraits lately and I can't even believe how they dress now. ay ay ay way beyond their years. Cute shots and fun that they did them together like that.

The energy between them was so fun. It's clear that they're very, very close.
